Right after Columbus day, we headed out to Montauk. The town had emptied. Restaurants closed. Wind is up. Storm coming in.. Montauk is always majestic in any season. Had lunch
in town, Wandered through Montauk in post season quiet. Next spring it all begins again. In the meantime, there is nature and peace. The deer come back into town and appear all over the village. Unique birds land quietly in the bushes. Birds circle over bait fish off shore.
And the wind picks up/
