6his pin was made by a free spirit of an Amercan crafts person who found she needed to go to Mexico to 
stay true to her beliefs. Her art landed up here at the New York Crafts Museum near MOMA. She was a wonderful character. Very brave. This is a pin she insisted I buy. I had no choice. Made in the famous Mexican silver workshops in the late 70's. Sterling silver and onyx. Three inches wide. One of a kind.
